It's a New Day, It's a Fresh Start
- All postures have modifications and all levels are welcome.
- If you can breathe you can do yoga! – The breath is the most important component in yoga; slow, even and steady.
- Yoga allows us to go to our edge; But, its always up to the individual where they decide the posture should take them.
- Yoga is available to anyone at any age, mature body types are most welcome.
- Strength, flexibility and balance all improve with practice, guaranteed!
- Many pictures depict people doing yoga postures that seem out of reach for most of us, the fact is, yoga is about the energy and the healing process that occurs on the inside of our bodies.
Although I’ve been practicing yoga for 20 years, its more clear to me now than ever just how amazing yoga is. As we enter the mature years of our lives many of us will still be playing golf, jogging, swimming and so on, but it will be different. We might notice that we’re not hitting the ball as far, we’re not running as fast or swimming as long. This is where the exciting part about yoga comes in, no matter when you start or how you start…you only get better with age! Unlike many activities that we noticeably slow down in, yoga allows us to see our growth and maintain our youth. It's not uncommon to see someone in their fifties or sixties be more balanced and flexible than people in their thirties and forties!
